Public Consultation on Home Care Launched

There is wide-spread recognition of the need for fair and equitable home care across Ireland. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) therefore welcomed the launch in July 2017 of a public consultation on home care. The first stage of this consultation finished in October 2017.

The ASI consulted widely with people with dementia and family carers to prepare this detailed submission on home care. We will continue to engage with this consultation process in 2018 to ensure that the voices of people living with dementia and their families are heard.
