National Respite Centre
We currently operate one national respite centre in Ireland, Waterman's Lodge in Killaloe/Ballina on the Tipperary, Clare and Limerick border.
Our specialist overnight respite centre offers stimulation and activity to the person with dementia in a safe, friendly environment and respite from caring for the caregiver
This centre provides overnight respite care seven days a week. During the day, residents have access to the Day Care Centre.

We also work with local nursing homes in many counties who have an allocated respite beds for people with dementia. To find out more about this service, please contact your local Alzheimer Society of Ireland day care or home care service manager.
