The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is committed to operating to high standards of good practice and transparency and has signed up to the following codes of practice:

The Charities Governance Code 

The Charities Regulator Charities Governance Code is the standard by which charities in Ireland must measure their governance arrangements.  ASI has completed an assessment of our compliance with the Code and has declared our compliance with the regulator as needed.  Click HERE for more information about this code

The Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising:

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland complies with the Statement of Guiding Principles standards for fundraising.  Click here for further information

Statement of Recommended Practice or SORP:

SORPs provide recommendations for accounting and reporting, in particular, how accounting standards should be applied in particular sectors. SORPs aim to provide consistency of accounting treatment and reporting within our sector. Whilst this has not been compulsory in Ireland, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has adopted the SORP as best practise of Accounting and reporting for Charities in Ireland. The Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015:

The Regulation of Lobbying legislation is designed to inform the public about who is lobbying whom about what. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has registered and practices compliance with all the directives set out in the legislation.

Gender Pay Gap Report 2022:

The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 requires organisations to report on their hourly gender pay gap across various metrics.
