Our Mobile Information Bus Service will be hitting Laois this coming week to bring much-needed support and information to people living with dementia and their carers. If you are in the area, please stop by to say hello to our team!

The dates are as follows:

Monday, September 25th: 11am– 1pm Portarlington FEC; 2pm-4pm Portlaoise FEC;

Tuesday, September 26th: 10am-11.00am Stradbally near the Church; 12.30-2pm Psychiatry of Later Life Block Road, Portlaoise; 3pm-7pm Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise;

Wednesday, September 27th: 10am-1pm St Vincent’s Community Nursing Home, Mountmellick; 2pm –5pm Portlaoise Hospital;

Thursday, September 28th: 10.30am-12noon The Square Rathdowney; 3pm-5pm Shaen Hospital;

Friday, September 29th: 9am-12noon Mountrath Square; 2pm-5pm Lyster Square, Portlaoise.

We offer a range of services for people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, their families and carers. All our services operate using the philosophy of person centred care.

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. We aim is to raise €5 million a year.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.
