The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s National Helpline is a confidential information and support service for people with dementia and their families, carers, anyone concerned about their memory and those working or studying in the field.

The Helpline service aims to provide accurate, up-to-date, accessible and relevant information and emotional support to our service users.

The Helpline service has been successful in achieving a quality standard from Helplines Partnership for the 2nd time which shows a continued commitment to delivering an effective high-quality service. Helplines Partnership developed the Standard recognising the diverse challenges and issues faced by helplines and the varied ways in which today’s service users wish to make contact. Helplines Partnership is committed to raising standards across the sector and strongly encourages helplines to demonstrate their commitment to quality and best practice for the benefit of people who use the service.
