We currently operate two national respite centres in Ireland
Due to the Covid-19) public health emergency, respite services provided in the Orchard Respite Centre in Blackrock, Co Dublin will be temporarily suspended from Friday, 27th March 2020. The service will be resumed once we are clear of the current Covid-19 emergency. Be assured that the HSE, the ASI and our service provider, Mowlam Healthcare, are fully committed to resuming services as soon as possible.
We currently operate two national respite centres in Ireland:
- The Orchard Respite Centre in Blackrock, County Dublin
- The Waterman’s Lodge in Killaloe/Ballina on the Tipperary, Clare and Limerick border
These specialist respite centres offer stimulation and activity to the person with dementia in a safe, friendly environment and respite from caring for the caregiver.
Our respite centres provide overnight respite care seven days a week, and during the day, residents have access to the day care centre.
