KBC Partner Story

Our KBC Partnership

We have been partnered with KBC Bank since 2017 and the invaluable support from all the staff at KBC Bank has allowed us to raise over €160,000 euro throughout the partnership. The money raised has helped us fund a wide variety of projects throughout the partnership some of which include,

Mobile Information Service

The Alzheimer Society is delighted to provide the Mobile Information Service which delivers information and support to people with dementia and their families in their local communities across Ireland. Thanks to KBC Bank this service will travel throughout Ireland and be a presence in towns, villages and cities to raise awareness about dementia and to provide vital information to people who are affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Tap to Donate

KBC kindly arranged to gift us with a  new innovative way to collect donations via the ‘Tap To Donate’ devices. We have been able to use this wonderful technology at all of our events across the country to throughout the year including, Tea Day,  Memory Ribbon Day and A Taste to Remember Cookbook launch to easily received donations from via card payment with a simple tap.

Commenting on the partnership, Aidan Power, Director of Customer, Brand & Marketing at KBC Bank Ireland, said “The work The Alzheimer Society of Ireland does in our communities is very important and clearly one that many people in KBC feel passionate about, with the amount raised being a testament to that. We look forward to working with The Alzheimer Society of Ireland into the future”
