Overview

Our branch network plays an integral part in helping us achieve our mission to meet the needs of those affected by dementia.

Our branches provide information and support at local level to people and also engage in local fundraising activities. Our branch members are dedicated and committed volunteers. If you would like to volunteer with us you can contact your nearest branch for more information.

Jack Bogue, a 6th year student from St Mary’s Diocesan School in Drogheda, shaved his head in 2018 and with his fellow students raised €2,100 in aid of our Tredagh Day Care Centre in Drogheda recently. Jack is pictured here with St Mary’s Diocesan School Principal Ciaran O’Hare presenting the cheque to Drogheda ASI Committee members Ann Shortt and Gerry Leyden.

Presenting the cheque for the 2018 Remembrance Tree Xmas fundraiser to Ann Shortt from our Drogheda ASI Branch is Drogheda Rotary Club President, Karl Alan and Paddy Pendergast.

Our CEO Pat McLoughlin and Chair of our Drogheda Branch & board member Noel Heeney, were joined by students from St. Mary’s Diocesan School on the Late Lunch with Gerry Kelly on LMFM on 7th February 2019. The students spoke about how they fundraised for MP3 Players and created personalised playlists for local people living with Dementia. A fantastic initiative and positive impact for all at Tredagh Lodge. You can listen back here: http://tinyurl.com/y9o7c9jh
