Overview

We’re delighted to announce our upcoming pilot programme “iSupport for Young People”

iSupport for Young People is an education and support programme designed for young people aged 11–17 who are supporting a family member or friend living with dementia.

This programme was originally developed by the World Health Organisation and has since been adapted by young people with Bangor University,  and further by the Alzheimer Society of Ireland in collaboration with Family Carers Ireland.

This 7-session online programme provides a space where young people can access age‑appropriate information, support, and practical guidance for supporting someone they know with dementia.

Programme Information:

Dates: Tuesdays, 3rd November-15th December 2026

Time: 6pm-7.30pm

Tutors: Debby Gregg (ASI) and Elayne O’Hara (FCI)
