The Orchard Respite Centre

The Orchard Respite service is a specialist overnight respite service offering stimulation and activity to the person with dementia in a safe, friendly environment and an invaluable break to families and carers. This is a respite service. There are 11 beds available and is currently open to people with dementia living in CHO6 and CHO7 areas. Referrals must be made through the Local Public Health Nurse

The centre is run by Mowlam Healthcare in collaboration with The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and the Health Services Executive (HSE). For more information on the respite centre click here.
