Respite Care

Day Care Centres, Respite Centres, Support Groups, Alz Cafes, Social Clubs, face to face Family Carer Training are all postponed until further notice. We currently operate two national respite centres in Ireland

We currently operate two national respite centres in Ireland:

  • The Orchard Respite Centre in Blackrock, County Dublin
  • The Waterman’s Lodge in Killaloe/Ballina on the Tipperary, Clare and Limerick border

These specialist respite centres offer stimulation and activity to the person with dementia in a safe, friendly environment and respite from caring for the caregiver.

Our respite centres provide overnight respite care seven days a week, and during the day, residents have access to the day care centre.
