Dementia Adviser, Maeve Montgomery is available to people living in Cavan, Monaghan and Louth. This service is free and confidential.
Alzheimer Cafe
Alzheimer Cafes provide a warm and welcoming space for people with dementia, their family and friends, social and health care professionals to meet, exchange ideas and learnings.

Day Care Services
Our day care centres provide dementia specific, person centred care to meet the needs of the person with dementia.
Tredagh Lodge Day Care
People with dementia, their families and healthcare professionals can contact the day centre they are interested in.
We ask that a referral form is completed and this form requires confirmation of a diagnosis of dementia from a GP or consultant.

Birches at Rathabbey Day Care
People with dementia, their families and healthcare professionals can contact the day centre they are interested in.

We run support groups for families affected by dementia around Ireland.
Rath Abbey Support Group

Note:
Siel Bleu holds a range of physical activity sessions which are open for people with dementia and their carers to attend. The cost per session is €5. Siel Bleu also offers one to one classes which can be held in people’s homes at a cost of €30 per session. Memory Clinic
Memory Clinic, Louth
Note:
The Clinic is a specialised service for people with memory loss, changes in cognitive function and dementia. Diagnosis and treatments are provided for those concerned about changes in their memory and memory disorders, including dementia. Medical referral-based service which is also available for people under 65 on a case by case basis.

Clinical Care
Note:
The clinical care team are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides specialist mental health services to older people. They work in partnership with GP's, hospitals and other local health care and social services. Majority of clinical care services will require a referral from a GP.
